These Terms & Conditions apply when an eligibility application is submitted to Solyx Solutions Ltd. By completing any application or enquiry form on our website, social media, or in person, applicants agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. About Us

Solyx Solutions Ltd is an independent energy-efficiency referral service.

We help households check eligibility for government-backed schemes such as:

  • Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)

  • ECO4

  • Other energy-efficiency funding programmes where applicable

We do not carry out installations ourselves. We work with vetted, accredited installers and managing agents.

 

2. Purpose of the Application

 

By filling out an application form, applicants agree that:

  • The application is a request for an eligibility check for GBIS, ECO4, or similar funding schemes.

  • The information provided will be used to determine whether the applicant qualifies for free or subsidised insulation or energy-efficiency upgrades.

  • Information may be shared with trusted partners for the purpose of progressing the application and arranging surveys or installations.

 

3. Use of Information

 

By submitting details, applicants consent to Solyx Solutions:

  • Collecting and storing information securely.

  • Sharing details with accredited installers, retrofit assessors, and managing agents.

  • Contacting applicants by phone, email, SMS, or mail regarding the application.

  • Requesting documents required to process the referral (EPC, Council Tax, benefits, ID, etc.).

Solyx Solutions will never sell information to unrelated third parties.

 

4. Accuracy of Information

Applicants agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate and complete.

  • Any changes (e.g., moving home, change in benefit status) will be promptly communicated.

  • Providing incorrect information may affect eligibility for funding.

Where necessary, Solyx Solutions may verify details such as EPC certificates, Council Tax bands, or benefit letters.

 

5. Eligibility Checks

Eligibility is determined based on government scheme rules, which may include:

  • EPC rating

  • Council Tax band

  • Household income

  • Benefit status

  • Property suitability

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval for funding.

Final decisions are made by the relevant managing agent, installer, or energy supplier—not by Solyx Solutions.

 

6. No Cost for Application

Eligibility checks are free of charge.

If a contribution is required for installation (rare under GBIS), this will be explained directly by the installer before any work begins.

Solyx Solutions does not charge customers for assessments or installations.

 

7. Surveys & Installations

If an application progresses:

  • A qualified surveyor or assessor may contact the applicant to arrange a property survey.

  • All installations will be carried out by TrustMark-registered, PAS 2030:2019 accredited companies.

Solyx Solutions does not accept liability for delays, cancellations, workmanship, or decisions made by installers or managing agents.

Any issues with installation should be addressed directly with the installer or through TrustMark’s dispute resolution process.

 

8. Applicant Responsibilities

By agreeing to these Terms, applicants confirm that:

  • They have permission to apply for upgrades at the property.

  • Tenants have obtained or will obtain landlord consent.

  • Access will be provided for surveys and installations at agreed times.

  • Required documentation will be supplied when requested by Solyx Solutions or its partners.

 

9. Withdrawal

Applications may be withdrawn at any time by contacting: info@solyxsolutions.co.uk

 

10. Limitation of Liability

Solyx Solutions is not responsible for:

  • Decisions are made by managing agents, energy suppliers, or government bodies.

  • Survey outcomes, installation quality, or funding approval.

  • Missed or cancelled appointments.

  • Changes to government scheme rules.

 

We act solely as a referral and eligibility-support service. Solyx Solutions’ total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid (if applicable) for the specific service in question.

 

11. Data Protection

 

Solyx Solutions complies with all relevant UK GDPR and data protection laws.

12. Acceptance

 

By ticking the box or submitting an application, the applicant confirms that:

✔ They have read and understood these Terms.

✔ They agree to them in full.

✔ They consent to Solyx Solutions processing and sharing their details for referral purposes.

 

By submitting an application or enquiry, the applicant confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
